Born (1956) in California, U.S.A., spent 6 years in Athens, Greece during childhood.
After graduating Jochi (Sophia) University (Faculty of Law), joined Mobil Oil in 1981. After 8.5 years’ experience in Mobil Oil, transferred to All Nippon Airways Co., Ltd. (ANA) in 1989. Throughout approximately 32 years of service in ANA, mainly involved in the international business, including assignments at Stockholm (Scandinavian Airlines System trainee), ANA Hong Kong branch office (Passenger & Cargo Sales Director, 5 years), EMEA Cargo Sales & Marketing (Director, 5 years in London), as well as various coordination and negotiation with the foreign carriers or IATA (International Air Transport Association), etc. Proficient in Japanese=English translation & interpretation.
